Help for Flooding Victims in the Kansas City Area
Climate Control Heating & Cooling wants to help our neighbors in the KC area

Flooding and water damage can come unexpectedly.
If you are in the St Joseph area and you experienced recent flooding, you probably want to just get back to normal life as soon as possible. A lot of things are probably running through your mind like how you are going to clean up and how to repair water damage to your home. You may not realize this, but if your HVAC unit was submerged during the flood, you may have a whole list of other issues.
Sure, the outside of your air conditioner or furnace may look just the same as it did before the flood! It is highly likely that water-damaged HVAC equipment may not work or may not work for long after being flooded. Furnaces, heaters and boilers have gas valves and controls that are especially vulnerable to water damage. Even electric furnaces have coils that are susceptible to corrosion if flooded.
What should you do?
Helping Missouri Families Through the Liberty Community Christmas Tree Program
What better way to celebrate the season than by giving?
We at Climate Control Heating & Cooling believe that this is a great time to be giving back to the community and giving to those in need.
Through the Liberty Community Christmas Tree program, we’re able to give food and gifts to less fortunate families in the community. This year, we did our best to brighten the day for 10 families and a total of 30 children.
“I wanted to thank you guys for the gifts, I really appreciate you helping my family out. Merry Christmas.”

Climate Control Heating & Cooling is Partnering with Strike Out Poverty This April!
Poverty is a serious threat to a person’s health and wellbeing. It can become impossibly difficult to maintain proper shelter when you can’t afford repairs or maintenance services. We believe that no one should have to suffer unsafe living conditions due to money problems. That’s why we’re sponsoring, and partnering with, the organization “Strike Out Poverty” to put on a charity event Friday, April 27th of this year.
The Strike (Out Poverty) & Spare (Homes) Bowling Tournament will raise money to eliminate unsafe and dilapidated homes for disadvantaged homeowners in the Northland. We will be fielding three teams, each of which will be aiming to raise at least $100. So if you want to have some fun and help out your neighbors-in-need, come out and see us at the tournament!
Here are two of the teams from Climate Control Heating and Cooling. All participants are doing their part to Strike Out Hunger in the Greater Kansas City area.

Look Out for Our Heating Van During the Snake Saturday Parade!
It’s that time of year again, folks! Snake Saturday is in a couple of weeks, and we’re going to be there to celebrate with you all! Now, normally we have a float in the parade. This year, though, we’re going to be doing something a bit different. In the interest of keeping you all warm on the parade route, we’re going to have one of our vans present with a heating unit to blow warm air into the crowd. So come out and see us, get warm, and celebrate Snake Saturday!
