If you’re a Missouri homeowner thinking of upgrading to a new HVAC system you should know of the new regulations that will come into effect in May of 2013. It could mean significant costs above the system itself in remodel costs to accommodate the new unit.
To assist in the upgrade, Kansas City Power and Light is offering the Cool Homes rebate program. Homeowners who purchase a new energy-efficient A/C or heat pump can get an instant rebate of up to $850. That could really help offset your purchase and installation costs.
A home inspection of your existing system can be conducted by approved HVAC contractors who are trained in the Check Me! Program to determine if it qualifies for the rebate.
Climate Control Heating and Cooling is proud to be one of the KCP&L approved heating and cooling contractors who can inspect your home system. So, if you live in the KC metro area and are considering a home comfort system upgrade, we can help.
